10 ways Super Saddles will save you time and money and result in a better slab

1. Less manual labor. When you use Super Saddles there’s no need to pay someone to tamp concrete into the holes left by the big steel stakes used to support the screed rails.

2. Slab quality: Super Saddles allow you to place a much flatter, more uniform thickness slab than would be possible with wet screeding. And since there’s no tamping to fill stake holes, which usually leaves a low spot, you get a flatter slab.

3. Speed: Super Saddles are easy and quick to install and since the rails have no fasteners nothing is in the way allowing you to speed up the work of getting a quality slab.

4. Weight: Super Saddles are lightweight, taking the place of heavy steel stakes and when you’re placing or pulling the Super Saddles, quite a few will fit easily into your back pocket.

5. Positioning: If a Super Saddle were to get broken or pulled off, there’s no need to restring or reuse the laser because the rebar post is already set to grade.

6. Filling: When you pour with the Super Saddle you can leave the saddle in. When it’s time to put the power trowel on you can just pick them up and there’s enough mud to fill the void with the trowel or by hand.

7. Easy to see: Super Saddles are brightly colored so when you pull them from the slab and throw them off the slab they won’t get lost. Small holes in the edge of the Super Saddle make them easy to string onto a piece of tie wire.

8. Slopes: Super Saddles are ideal for sloping surfaces, even multiple slopes. Standard laser screeds can’t easily screed sloping surfaces.

9. Cost: Super Saddles cost a fraction of expensive steel stakes and carzate hangers.

10. Capping a slab: If something went wrong and you need to cap a slab, you can drill holes into the existing slab and use the Super Saddles to screed the capping slab.
